Grading or Classification of Agar Oil

Good grade of Churan usually yields the best quality Agar oil. A subtle distinction is made between the different grades of Agar oils according to the increase or decrease of their refinement and excellence. The prices will increase or decrease as such.
The refuse of Churan left after distillation of Agar oils is called Agar dust (locally called bushy). It sells in kg or quintals. It is generally used for the purpose of making essence sticks for burning in pans (Mithkhana) at religious festival and ceremonies. It has much demand in the international market.
